ount” of love one experiences depends on the absolute strength of these three components; the “type” of love one experiences depends on their strengths relative to each other. Different stages and types of love can be explained as different combinations of these three elements; for example, the relative emphasis of each component changes over time as an adult romantic relationship develops. A relationship based on a single element is less likely to survive than one based on two or three elements.

مصر توقف قناة الناس و قناة الخليجية

أوقفت مصر يوم الثلاثاء بث 4 قنوات فضائية على القمر الاصطناعي المملوك لها \"نايل سات\" مؤقتاً ووجهت إنذاراً لقناتين أخريين, مرجعة ذلك إلى \"مخالفة شروط البث\". 

وذكرت وكالة أنباء "الشرق الأوسط" المصرية الرسمية أن "المنطقة الإعلامية الحرة أوقفت ترخيص شركة البراهين العالمية المالكة لعدد من القنوات الفضائية, وأن القرار سيسري لحين توفيق البراهين لأوضاعها."
وتملك شركة البراهين العالمية قنوات "الخليجية" و"الحافظ" و"الصحة والجمال" و"الناس".
وقررت إدارة "نايل سات" أيضاً توجيه إنذار لقناتي "اون تي في" وقناة "الفراعين", لمخالفتهما شروط الترخيص الصادر لهما.
ونقلت وكالة الأنباء (رويترز) عن مراقبين قولهم إن مصر استاءت من تدخل قنوات فضائية عربية بشكل غير مباشر في قضايا طائفية, وذلك بعد أسابيع قليلة من التوتر الطائفي الناجم عن تصريحات رجل دين مسيحي كبير انتقد فيها الدين الإسلامي, إضافة إلى تناقل مواقع الانترنت أنباء أفادت بأن زوجة كاهن أسلمت وان الكنيسة القبطية الأرثوذكسية تحتجزها.
وشهدت الفترة الأخيرة قيام الشركة المصرية للأقمار الصناعة "نايل سات" بوقف بث قناتي "اوربت"  و"البدر" بزعم مخالفتها لشروط التعاقد، وتوقفها عن سداد المتأخرات المالية عليهم.
ونفى مسؤولون مصريون أن يكون وقف بث "أوربت" ناشئا عن انتقادات لسياسة الحكومة في برنامج حواري فيها.
يشار إلى أن الشركة المصرية للأقمار الصناعية هي المسؤولة عن تشغيل قمر "نايل سات" الذي يحتوي على مجموعة كبيرة من القنوات تناهز 670 قناة, تتنوع بين المفتوحة والمشفرة إضافة إلى أكثر من 140  قناة إذاعية

Chilean Miners Have Quick Trip to Freedom

في اقتفائها أثر ستة حواسيب إلكترونية تمت سرقتها ليلة 18 - 19 شتنبر الماضي بمدينة "بولونيا" الإيطالية لجأت شرطة البريد بنفس المدينة إلى استخدام نظام معلوماتي مكنها من تحديد مكان تواجد هذه الحواسيب، ومتابعة ومشاهدة بث حي مباشر لخمسة مهاجرين مغاربة اقتنوا خمسة منها من السارق الفعلي (41 سنة) الذي ينحدر من مدينة "نابولي".

وقد مكن ربط إحدى الحواسيب الستة بالشبكة العنكبوتية (الأنترنيت) مصالح الشرطة الإيطالية من التحكم عن بعد لتشغيل "الويب كام" (الكاميرا) المثبتة على نفس الحاسوب بحيث أتاح للشرطة مشاهدة كل ما كان يدور أمام هذه الكاميرا من غير أن يتفطن مستعملو الحاسوب إلى ذلك بالرغم إلى أن تشغيل الكاميرا يصاحبه اشتعال ضوء صغير (الليد) بجانبها، وقد تم من خلال معطيات خط الإتصال (الهاتف) تحديد مكان تواجد الحاسوب 

لتقوم قوات الشرطة فجر يوم 23 شتنبر بتوقيف خمسة شبان مغاربة ثلاثة منهم يتواجدون في وضعية غير قانونية تم تحويلهم في مباشرة إلى مركز تحديد الهوية للأجانب ريثما يتم الانتهاء من إجراءات طردهم نحو المغرب،كما تم الحجز على الحواسيب الخمسة المسروقة التي كانت مع المهاجرين المغاربة.

وحسب صحيفة "إلكورييري كيلا سيرا" فإن المهاجرين المغاربة يواجهون بالإضافة إلى تهمة حيازة المواد المسروقة تهمة أخرى تتمثل في استعمال غير القانوني للإنترنيت وذلك من خلال دخولهم عبر نظام اتصال أحد جيرانهم الذي يعتمد نظام "الويرليس" (اللاسيلكي) وهذا ما جعل الشرطة في البداية تتوجه صوب منزل هذا الجار إلا أن معرفتها المسبقة بالأشخاص المعنيين من خلال "الويب كام" جعلها تتدارك الأمر بسرعة.

ومن خلال عملية رفع البصمات وتصريحات المهاجرين المغاربة تم توقيف صاحب عملية السرقة الحقيقي  يوم 29 شتنبر الماضي والذي تبين أنه ينحدر من مدينة "نابولي" وأن له سوابق عدلية كثيرة.

Google takes over the roads: The test car has been sent out with a team of engineers in case of technical problems

Google is driving head first into more controversy today after revealing it has been testing its innovative hands-free car technology on California's roads.

For it wasn't talking about keeping hands off the phone or the GPS - alarmingly, it was testing cars driven with hands off the steering wheel.

Road safety experts were raising questions about the robot-driven cars after Google revealed it has logged over 140,000 miles around the state - almost all of them on auto-pilot.

The specially adapted Toyota Prius automated cars drove from Google's HQ in Mountain View, Northern California, down the famously scenic Pacific Coast Highway to Santa Monica.

Video shows settler leader run over Palestinian children

BETHLEHEM (Ma’an) -- An Israeli car ran down two Palestinian children on a road in the Silwan neighborhood of East Jerusalem on Friday.

A video of the incident from the Al Jazeera news network shows an Israeli-plated car swerve towards the children, one of whom is thrown over the windscreen. The car then drives off.
Jawad Seyam, director of the Wadi Helwa information centre, said the driver was a local settler leader in the flashpoint neighborhood, and that the children had just left noon prayers at a local mosque. He said the children were moderately injured.

The Israeli news site Ynet identified the driver as David Be'eri, who heads settler organization Elad, an organization which collects donations to "discreetly purchase property for Jews in Silwan," the site said.

Be'eri was questioned by police and released on bail, the report added.

An Israeli police spokesman was not immediately available to comment.

Associates of Be'eri were quoted in Ynet, saying he had tried to escape an ambush of stone-throwers. The sources told Ynet "He tried to escape, first by driving in reverse, but the vehicle behind him blocked his path.

Morocco welcomes the release of Mustpaha Ould Sidi Mouloud

Morocco welcomed, the announcement, Wednesday, of the release of Mustapha Selma Ould Sidi Mouloud, who was kidnapped on September 21 

on his way to the location of his usual residence, in the Tindouf camps, on the Algerian territory.
This outcome is, even on the admission of those responsible for his arbitrary detention, the fruit of the strong, efficient mobilization of national and international stakeholders and organizations, attached to the lofty principles of human rights, Morocco's Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
It added that the release came following pressure exerted on Algeria considering its established legal and political responsibilities in this matter.
The Kingdom recalls that Mustapha Selma Ould Sidi Mouloud, who endured serious physical and moral harm during his abduction, did nothing but expressing, freely and publicly, his support for Morocco's autonomy initiative, an opinion widely supported internationally and shared by the majority of Sahrawis, not only in the southern provinces, but also in the Tindouf camps.
The Kingdom urges the international community to guarantee full freedom of movement of Mustapha Selma Ould Sidi Mouloud and ensure respect for his primarily humanitarian right to join his family, wherever they may be. It also calls for his right to freely express his political choices to be secured, the statement added.
To this end, all Moroccan political class and stakeholders will pursue their mobilisation to restore Mustapha Selma Ould Sid Mouloud’s entire rights.
Morocco takes this opportunity to recall the illegal, unacceptable nature, from all viewpoints, of the detention of Mustapha Selma Ould Sidi Mouloud and express, once again, its full rejection of the fallacious pretexts and misleading quibbles on the existence of so-called “legislation”, “judicial organs”, “institutions of sadr” or “liberated territories”. The status of the area east of the berm is clearly defined, its nature and history are well known, and can in no way be subject to ambiguity or exploitation, the statement concluded.

The most comprehensive survey ever undertaken of the world's oceans has uncovered around 6,000 potential new species.

Census of Marine Life

The first Census of Marine Life, which has taken a decade to complete, estimates the number of known species to increased from 230,000 to nearly 250,000.

But it also suggests many species, from turtles to seabirds and sharks, are in decline thanks to human activity.

The £413m research project was established in 2000 with the aim of answering three questions:

- What lived in the oceans?

- What does live in the oceans?

- What will live in the oceans?

The ensuing survey involved more than 2,700 researchers from 80 nations, who spent a total of 9,000 days at sea on more than 540 expeditions.

Various forms of new technology were employed, such as tagging fish to see where they were swimming, fitting seals with monitors to record data as they dived, and using acoustic systems to measure fish populations as large as Manhattan Island.

Dr Ian Poiner, chairman of the project's scientific steering committee said that, from the Poles to tropical waters and the deep sea, there was an abundance of life.

But even after a decade of work researchers cannot be sure of the exact number of species in the world's oceans.

It is thought there could be at least a million species in total.

"This co-operative international 21st Century voyage has systematically defined for the first time both the known and the vast unknown, unexplored ocean," Dr Poiner told the BBC.

"All surface life depends on life inside and beneath the oceans," he added.

"Sea life provides half of our oxygen, a lot of our food and regulates the climate. While much remains unknown, including at least 750,000 undiscovered species and their roles, we are better acquainted now with our fellow travellers and their vast habitat."

Some of the "most beautiful and wonderful" species found during the survey include a Jurassic shrimp thought to have become extinct 50 million years ago and a crab named the Yeti crab.

The census also included genetically sequencing tiny microbes to tell them apart.

Dr Poiner said there could be as many as one billion different types in the ocean.

It is hoped the Census of Marine Life will help set a baseline for measuring changes that humanity and nature will cause in the future.

Firefox 4.0 UI Redesign Evolution, Then and Now (from softpedia)

Early adopters that followed the development process of the next major iteration ofFirefox, already know that a major graphical user interface overhaul was also introduced, with more and more pieces of the revamped UI falling into place as additional Beta releases were offered. 
At the end of the past month, Mozilla designer Stephen Horlander posted a free screenshots offering insights on just how far the UI redesign of Firefox 4.0 has come.

Windows flavor of Firefox has suffered the most changes, with the new user interface differing dramatically from the old version. 

According to Horlander, work on the overhauling the Firefox 4.0 UI is almost complete,  Users are bound to agree that the with Mozilla now moving to soften any rough corners. 

“In its current state the theme has most of the major bits in place and they now just await tweaks and polish,” he explained. 

The screenshots included at the bottom of this article are also illustrative of just how has the Firefox 4.0 UI evolved since Mozilla embarked on the revamping efforts. 

The company notes that the feedback it received from testers of the many Firefox 4.0 Beta Builds related to the new UI has been mainly positive. 

The screenshots below illustrate how the UI changed between May 2010 and the current pre-Beta 7 nightly Build of Firefox 4.0. 

“In an effort to advance the polish stage I have updated the Timeline/Milestone page of the theme project wikipage,” Horlander stated. 

“This page now contains a list of bugs that still need to be fixed before Firefox 4. The list is sorted in order of priority and anything that is listed above “Lower priority bugs” is considered required. 

“Anything below that is high priority polish. I am attempting to keep it current with regards to ownership and status to the best of my knowledge.

“The list is not comprehensive and there are other outstanding theme bugs that are not listed there. I am trying to keep the scope to required bugs and the most glaring issues that need polish. It is also not a static list. I add new bugs as I find them.”
